Terms of Use
Effective 5 October 2026
Breïk is free. Breïk Plus is an optional one-time purchase, and the 7-day trial never charges you. Purchases and refunds go through Apple. Breïk suggests gentle movement, not medical advice: go easy, and skip anything that hurts.
1. Your agreement
Breïk is made by Raul Hernandez (“we”, “us”), an independent developer based in Indonesia, and distributed through the Mac App Store. Your licence to use Breïk is granted under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). These Terms of Use add details about Breïk Plus, the free trial and safe use. If anything here conflicts with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA wins.
2. Breïk and Breïk Plus
Breïk is free to download and use, with every feature and a set of free exercises. Breïk Plus is an optional, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks every exercise in Breïk's library. It is paid once and is not a subscription.
The price is shown in the App Store, in your local currency, before you buy. We may offer a launch or promotional price for a limited time, and we may change prices later; a price change never affects a purchase you've already made.
3. The 7-day free trial
- The trial is an optional in-app purchase priced at zero. You choose to start it; it is never started for you.
- It unlocks every exercise for 7 days from the moment it starts.
- It is available once per Apple Account.
- When it ends, Breïk automatically returns to the free exercises and keeps working. Nothing is charged, and the trial does not turn into a purchase or a subscription. To keep every exercise, you can choose to buy Breïk Plus.
4. Family Sharing and restoring purchases
Breïk Plus supports Family Sharing, so members of your Family Sharing group can use it on their own Macs. To get Breïk Plus on another Mac, sign in with the same Apple Account and choose Restore Purchases in Breïk's Settings.
5. Payments and refunds
All payments are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. Because Apple handles payments, we can't issue refunds directly. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's refund policies. This doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law.
6. Health and safety
Breïk offers general stretches, eye exercises and breathing exercises for everyday comfort. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Move gently and within a comfortable range. Never push into pain.
- Stop straight away if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness or discomfort.
- If you have an injury, a medical condition, recent surgery or you're pregnant, check with a qualified health professional before doing any exercise.
- Make sure you have enough clear space, and use stable furniture for any exercise that uses a chair, desk or wall.
You do the exercises at your own risk and choose which ones suit you.
7. Acceptable use
Please use Breïk only as permitted by the Apple EULA and the law. Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its content, except where the law expressly allows it.
8. Intellectual property
Breïk, its name, illustrations, animations, text and software belong to Raul Hernandez and are protected by copyright and other laws. Using Breïk doesn't transfer any ownership to you.
9. Changes to Breïk
We keep improving Breïk, and may add, change or retire features and exercises in updates. Breïk is provided by an independent developer; we'll do our best to keep it working well, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs.
10. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent the law allows, Breïk is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury resulting from exercises done against the guidance in section 6. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. About Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Breïk or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Apple EULA and may enforce it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country (and, in the United States, the state) where you live, and you can bring any claim in the courts there. Nothing in these terms takes away the protection that your local consumer laws give you. Before going to court, please email us first: most problems can be sorted out quickly.
13. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above. Changes never apply to purchases retroactively.
